One of my earliest memories that I have from childhood involves my love for art. I was 6 years old and I had gotten into my mother's make-up and drew all over the bathroom mirrors with her lipstick and eyeliner. Although I can not recall what it was that I had drawn, I remember what my mother said when she saw it. She did not yell, as I had expected, she told me that it was beautiful and that I should keep up the good work. The next day she came home with sketch paper and colored pencils!

My self expression manifests itself into my drawings. And based upon what mood I happen to be in at the time determines what will come out on the paper. It is the only way that I know how to reach people on a level that is not encountered everyday. My goal is for people to notice and appreciate all of the beauty that surrounds us everyday as we move at high speed through our frantic lives. Noticing a blooming flower or a painting in a gallery gives us something to reflect upon when we have a bad day. If one of my drawings brings solace to even one person, at one of their darkest and loneliest hours, then I have succeeded in my attempt to reach them.
